Annually CYCE and Milltown Sailing Association face off in a friendly duel with as many boats from each club as possible to win the prestigious banner. We alternate between Everett (homeport of Milltown Sailing Association) on even years and our homeport of Edmonds on odd years. This year Milltown Sailing Association is hosting the race in Everett on May 9th and it will be a buoy day style event with (wind dependent) 3-4 short races. CYCE won the flag last year so lets get a good showing of boats up in Everett this year to try to hold onto the flag! Cruisers are welcome to come join for the social event after the race and to support the racers.

The Port of Everett is holding space at guest dock 4 for CYCE. Reserve guest moorage with dockwa.com. Select Port of Everett and in the comments indicate you are with CYCE and competing in the MSA/CYCE Challenge Cup. Register before May 5 to secure guest dock 4. MSA will reimburse 1 night moorage for registered racers. To do so register for the Challenge Cup with MSA and email a copy of the moorage receipt to racecaptain@milltownsailing.org.
Cruisers are encouraged to come up for the weekend to support racers, enjoy the celebrations, and party on the dock. Also, the Navy Yacht Club is hosting their opening day events May 8th-10th and have extended an invitation to all sailors to guest dock 5 for food and fun.
