CYCE board meetings are open to all. We encourage all members as well as nonmembers curious about the club to attend our board meetings. We welcome your ideas and expertise.

We meet on the third Thursday of each month 7:00- 8:30pm. We take a summer break and don't meet in August.

Meetings are held in the board of commissioners meeting room on the second floor of the new Port Administration Building, at 471 Admiral Way.

We are a small club run by volunteers. We need your help to make CYCE a welcoming, inclusive, fun community for all.

CYCE-MSA Challenge Cup (09 May 2026)

Annually CYCE and Milltown Sailing Association face off in a friendly duel with as many boats from each club as possible to win the prestigious banner. We alternate between Everett (homeport of Milltown Sailing Association) on even years and our homeport of Edmonds on odd years. This year Milltown Sailing Association is hosting the race in Everett and it will be a buoy day style event with (wind dependent) 3-4 short races. CYCE won the flag last year so lets get a good showing of boats up in Everett this year to try to hold onto the flag! Cruisers are welcome to come join for the social event after the race and to support the racers.

Register with MSA here to participate. MSA Sailing instructions and NOR. Marks most likely to be used to create the course(s) will be A, B, D, F, & J. See page 19 of MSA's SI. MSA is offering reimbursement for moorage for those that want to go up ahead of time or stay after the race. Please make reservations directly with Port of Everett for guest moorage. Post race celebrations will be held at a TBD location at Port of Everett.

2026 Mad Dash (20 Jun 2026)

All sailors are welcome! Join CYCE in a weekend single-hand/double handed pursuit race/cruise from Edmonds to Port Ludlow on Saturday, and back to Edmonds on Sunday. Children and guests not handling sails are allowed (see sailing instructions). Anyone wanting to simply cruise over and not worry about start times are encouraged to join in Port Ludlow for the BBQ and social gathering.

Important: All skippers are responsible for making their own moorage reservation with Port Ludlow Marina. Do this at least three weeks before the race, since they will release any reserved spaces three weeks before the date. Call 360-437-0513 or use their online system at https://portludlowresort.com/request-a-slip/. Please mention that you are with CYCE so that they put you in one of the 15 slips reserved for our club. If you request a slip online, you can add "CYCE Mad Dash" under special requests in the online form.

Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share for Saturday night. CYCE will provide burgers, condiments, and utensils.
